Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Aadhyatech Solution, India ("we"), for the use of techlookup.app, its data and its browser extension (together, "TechLookup"). By using TechLookup you accept them. If you use it for a company, you accept them for the company.
The service
TechLookup identifies the technologies public websites are built with and lets you look sites up, list sites by technology, follow changes and export results. Detections are produced automatically by matching fingerprints against what our crawler saw on one visit. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and a site can change the moment after we looked. Check before you rely on a detection for anything that matters.
Your account
Accounts are for one person. Keep your sign-in email secure; anyone with access to it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may close accounts that break these terms.
Plans and payment
The free plan has daily limits. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider and renew until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan from your account page at any time; the change takes effect at the end of the paid period and we do not refund partial months unless the law where you live requires it. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email. Taxes are added where they apply.
Fair use
Plan limits (lookups per day, saved sites, export rows per month) are part of the deal. You may not share an account, scrape or bulk-download the site, run automated queries beyond the limits, or work around them. Use the API and the extension only as documented.
Using the data
You may use lookups, lists and exports for your own business: research, prospecting, competitive analysis, reporting to your clients. You may not resell or republish our data as a dataset, feed it into a competing product, or use contact details from it to send unsolicited messages in breach of anti-spam laws such as the GDPR, CAN-SPAM or India's rules on unsolicited commercial communication. You are responsible for how you contact anyone whose details you find here.
Intellectual property
The detection engine and the browser extension are open source under the GNU GPL v3; their source is published separately and those licences govern it. Everything else, including the website, the crawler, the database and the way results are compiled, belongs to us. Website owners keep all rights to their own sites; we only describe them.
Site owners
If your website is listed and you do not want it to be, the opt-out page stops scanning and removes what we hold, with no account and no questions asked.
Availability and liability
TechLookup is provided as is. We aim for it to be available and accurate but do not promise either, and we may change or withdraw features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using TechLookup and delete your account at any time by emailing us. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, with notice where practical. Sections on using the data, intellectual property and liability survive.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to its courts, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version and account holders are emailed about substantial changes. Continuing to use TechLookup after a change means you accept it.
